Dr. Tiffaney Whitt is the Founder and CEO of Melanated Education Group (MEG), an educational organization dedicated to creating intentional, culturally responsive learning experiences that help Black and Brown students strengthen foundational skills, accelerate academic growth, and move toward mastery.
Dr. Whitt holds a doctoral degree in Instructional Leadership and brings more than seven years of administrative leadership experience to her work. Her leadership journey includes serving as the Superintendent of Hope Leadership Academy, where she worked to strengthen instructional practices, support educators, improve student outcomes, and advance a vision of creating a world-class educational experience for students and families.
Throughout her career, Dr. Whitt has remained deeply committed to addressing educational inequities, particularly the academic gaps that disproportionately impact Black and Brown students. She believes that students achieve at higher levels when they receive rigorous instruction that addresses their individual academic needs while also affirming their identities, cultures, experiences, and strengths.
Her experience in instructional leadership has shaped MEG's approach to curriculum and assessment. Rather than simply identifying what students do not know, Dr. Whitt believes educational resources should help educators uncover the foundational skills students need, provide targeted opportunities for growth, and create clear pathways toward academic mastery.
Through Melanated Education Group, Dr. Whitt combines her expertise in instructional leadership, curriculum development, educational administration, and student achievement with her passion for creating learning environments where students feel seen, valued, challenged, and capable.
At the heart of her work are MEG's three guiding pillars: Educate. Empower. Elevate. Dr. Whitt's mission is not only to help students become stronger academically, but also to empower them with the confidence, knowledge, and sense of possibility needed to see themselves as scholars, leaders, innovators, and changemakers.

Melanated Education Group was founded on the recognition that most curricula and assessments were not designed with Black and Brown students in mind. This gap often leaves students underserved, impacting their foundational skills and overall academic growth. Our company was created to address these unique needs, working to close the educational divide, remedy deficiencies in core skills, and support measurable progress toward mastery. We are dedicated to providing resources that truly resonate with and uplift every student.
